The islands are also home to a huge selection of animal life. Dolphins, Turtles, Iguanas, Stingrays, and many amazing fish species. It is also home to the popular Conch which is an appetizing sea snail. We use this to create fresh Conch salad which we have been told is the best conch salad on the island!.

Snorkel & Conch Cruise

Description:

Our most popular excursion, the snorkel and conch cruise is a fantastic 4 hour trip going out twice daily, 7 days a week.

Our Turks and Caicos snorkeling cruise will take you beach cruising along Grace Bay, snorkeling along the barrier reef, third largest in the world, snorkeling the Caicos Bank and finally a stop at gorgeous Half Moon Bay where we will make you a delicious conch salad made from the conch caught on the trip!
Your first snorkeling stop will be the Turks and Caicos barrier reef, third largest in the world and over 125 miles in distance. The natural barrier guards the north shore of Providenciales and preserves its beautiful white sand beach. It’s also the reason why the water is so clear and blue. On a clear sunny day you can see up to a hundred feet underwater! Sixty different types of coral are said to reside here. The barrier reef is also a fantastic spot to catch a glimpse of whales, dolphins, stingrays, turtles, and many incredible species of tropical fish.
Your second stop will be along the Caicos Bank which is the shallow turquoise tinted waters off the shores of Providenciales and Caicos. The waters house tidal flats and swamps which are an ideal habitat for Conch which we use to make the best salads on the island! This reef system abruptly drops off into the depths of the Atlantic Ocean which is commonly referred to as the “Wall.” The Caicos Banks make up some 1700 square miles with much of the area being under twenty feet (6 meters).
Your last stop will be at Half Moon Bay which is a picturesque beach located between the islands of Little Water Cay and Water Cay. It is a three quarter mile (1200 meter) beach which started as a sand bar and slowly grew over many years. It is easily one of the most popular attractions in Turks and Caicos for island hopping, boat cruises, day trips, BBQ’s and kayak trips. It is also home to the Turks and Caicos Rock Iguana which thrive in the dune and bush environment.
This is a wonderful excursion! Caicos Dream Tours snorkel and conch cruise will leave you breathless! Enjoy it!
