You will learn Peak Performance Buoyancy. You will increase your knowledge of Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation. Especially appropriate here, you will learn Underwater Naturalist and Boat Diving procedures.

All students must complete a Medical Statement prior to participating in any course. Should any of the medical history items noted on the Statement apply to you, you will need to consult with a physician. Itinerary:

Duration: 2 Days

Day One: You will have read the material at home in your own time prior to coming on vacation. This will prepare you for the practical aspects of the course that you will complete on the dives with your instructor.

On your way to the first dive site, your instructor will assess your diving level. They will talk about weighting, air consumption and about buoyancy control. The first dive will be Peak Performance Buoyancy as having good control in the water is the key to enjoying the activity. The second dive of the day is Navigation. This will help you will feel more confident in your abilities to find the boat without coming to the surface to look for it.

Day Two: The Deep Dive.  For safety reasons, this is the first dive of the day. You will now be officially certified to dive to 100 ft.  The next 2 dives are Underwater Naturalist; and Boat Diver. A basic understanding of what you are seeing is important to fully appreciate the marine environment. Boat diving procedures and etiquette are likewise important for all those future trips to explore our underwater world.

Your instructor will give you Nitrox for the third dive of the day.  If you are not adding on the Nitrox certification, they will simply explain the reason and safety factors involved.  If you are also becoming Nitrox Certified, you will have another tank of Nitrox available for your next dive with Dive Provo.

Day Three: A 2-tank boat dive where you can practice your newly acquired skills either as buddy teams or under the supervision of us in-water guide.
