Sea View Suites Upstairs

The Salt Raker Inn is a historic landmark located on quaint Duke Street. The main building was originally built as a residence for Bermudan shipwright Jonathan Glass in the 1850s. Using shipwright skills and techniques, it has withstood many hurricanes. The main house has other features, which are a link to the islands past. Some of the beams and rafters are made of native mahogany. The cedar shingles on the north side of the roof came from Canada in trade for salt in the heyday of the Turks & Caicos Salt Industry. During the 20th century the main building was converted into a guesthouse. While still decidedly historic in character, modern conveniences have been added to enhance the experience

Delightful Ocean Front Inn, situated in the historic heart of Old Grand Turk, the Salt Raker offers 13 rooms, 2 sea view suites with balcony,1 ground floor sea view suite,  6 garden rooms and 4 sea view rooms all with ensuite bathrooms, AC, ceiling fans ,cable TV, fridge and coffee makers. The Salt Raker Inn is home to the famous Secret Garden Restaurant and bar.

You will find free Wi-Fi in restaurant, free parking for rental cars and you are within walking distance of the 3 dive operators on the island.
