KITE BOARDING
Kiteboarding is deemed to be one of the most liberating sports on the water, harnessing only the power of the wind.
Even though kiteboarding is an independent activity, it always draws like-minded individuals together to carve up the waves and catch breathtaking airs.
Like most tight-knit groups, Provo has its own community of kiteboarders; they can easily be spotted by checking the horizon, typically dotted with colorful kites.
A handful of seasoned local kiteboarders turned their experience into instruction. If you’re interested to learn how to kiteboard while visiting the Turks and Caicos, now is a perfect time. So long as the wind is up and it usually is, so are TCI’s kiteboard instructors.
Already seasoned? It’s easy to join Provo’s kiteboarding crowd, just rent some gear and soon you’ll be showing off your own skills with newfound friends.

STAND UP PADDLE BOARDING
Paddle boarding’s popularity has exploded in recent years in particular due to exercise and fitness-crazes. Anyone who paddle boards knows the duel benefit to this activity and if they didn’t at first, they sure did the next morning.
Paddle boarding is an intense balance, strength, core building activity. This is easily overlooked because it can also be relaxing and lots of fun. It’s a great way to be active on the water while touring some of the islands less traveled waterways and mangroves.
It’s simple to rent a paddle board or book a paddle board tour. You may, however, want to book a massage the following day depending on how extreme you want to take your paddle boarding experience; just sayin’

SAILING
The best way to gain perspective of an island is to see it offshore.
The typical tourist viewpoint is experienced passively, glancing over a paperback every so often, past the sugar sand beach and beyond into the ocean horizon. Ever wonder what those people in the boats looking back are experiencing?
Whether hiring a private charter, booze-cruise, or taking the helm yourself, there are miles of Grace Bay coastline and dozens of uninhabited islands to explore… It’s time to find out what you have been missing out on.
